Anti-Virus program (Executable file)
If you already have previous version of TrendMicro OfficeScan installed, uninstall it first then1. Download and save installation file (File Name:ClientNewInstall.exe) on to your Desktop.
2. Double-click ClientNewInstall.exe or execute it from the command prompt to begin installation. It will take approximate 2-5 minutes and you will not see any progress during this process.
3. Wait until you see icon (Blue circle with wave)
shows up on your Taskbar area.
You may also reference Task Manager -> Processors for running job.
Update client-side of anti-Virus program for better protection
If you already have TrendMicro OfficeScan installed on your computer but you don't want to go thru uninstall/reinstall process (see above) to upgrade your anti-virus program, you can still upgrade your computer by changing few parameters in your computer registry.1. Open Registry editor.
2. Locate HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\TrendMicro\PC-cillinNTCorp\CurrentVersion.
3. Change DatabasePath value from \\AVS\ofcscan\FileDB to \\OFCSCAN\ofcscan\FileDB
4. Change LocalServerPort value from 40871(decimal) to 61406(decimal).
5. Change ServerPort value from 80(decimal) to 8080(decimal).
6. Change Server value to OFCSCAN.
7. Close Registry Editor.
8. Reboot your computer.
